Deep in the Heart of the Herefordshire countryside Westons is situated in the old village of Much Marcle. Nestling on a gentle hillside amongst apple and perry pear orchards 'The Bounds' with its 400 year old farmhouse is the centre piece to a unique day out for all the family. Join a Guided Tour around the mill and savour the aromas of traditional cidermaking. Hear how cider is produced from the planting of the orchards to the moment it is poured. Stroll through the Henry Weston Courtyard Garden and into a converted 17th century cowshed to see one of the world’s largest bottle collections. With Shire Horse Dray Rides, Traditional & Rare Breeds Farm Park (open from Good Friday to end of September), a children’s Playground where the children can let off steam while you enjoy sampling the wide selection of ciders and perries FREE, there is something for everyone. Open 7 days a week, Monday to Friday 9.00am – 4.30pm, Saturday & Sunday 10.00am-4.00pm.


General Information and Opening Times

Westons Cider Visitor Centre is open throughout the year.  Opening times vary and are shown below.  Please note that Bank Holiday and Christmas Holiday periods may differ.

Since 1st July 2007 Westons has become a non-smoking site.  This includes outside areas such as  the Henry Weston Courtyard Garden, and the seating areas outside the Scrumpy House Restaurant and Bar and the Bottle Museum Tea Room.


Scrumpy House Café-Restaurant

Open 7 days a week, Monday – Friday 9.00am – 4.30pm, Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays 10.00am – 4.00pm for morning coffees, afternoon teas, snacks and light lunches.  Also open Friday and Saturday evenings from 7pm until late for gourmet suppers.

Cider Bottle Collection – FREE

Open 7 days a week, Mondays to Fridays 9.00am – 4.30pm, Saturdays and Sundays 10.00am – 4.00pm.  Enjoy our collection of over 1000 cider and perry bottles, on display in a converted 17th century cow shed.

Traditional and Rare Breeds Farm Park and Orchard Walk

Our farm park is open from Good Friday until 30th September 2008.

Come along and meet all this year's new animals, have fun on the John Deere Pedal Tractors and explore our Orchard Walk.
